The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

9:06 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A vehicle was egged on South Shepherd Street.

11:44 a.m., traffic accidents — A tenant said a neighbor hit the building and left the area on North Shepherd Street.

1:05 p.m., controlled substances — A man found a loaded syringe in his shop on South Shepherd Street.

1:24 p.m., traffic accidents — A big rig with a white cab, white cargo trailer and gray doors on the back, hit the roof of a hotel on South Washington Street and proceeded down Stockton Road without stopping.

3:13 p.m. trespass/loiter — A neighbor on Arbona Circle said someone enters a nearby abandoned house several times a week, at night, and there were personal belongings in the residence.

3:22 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman tried to deliver food to an apartment when another woman yelled for her to slow down and then stood behind her vehicle on Greenley Road.

4:21 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A man on Cielo Vista Way said his “Vote No On Recall” sign on his lawn was vandalized six times.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

6:51 a.m., Columbia — A woman who acted strangely was in the middle of the road with her belongings on Cedarcrest Road.

8:59 a.m., Sonora — A man in a blue shirt, blue sweats, white socks and no shoes held his chest and appeared to be in distress as he walked east on Mono Way.

9:41 p.m., Sonora — A gas line on a truck was cut at a business on Mono Way.

10:57 a.m., Columbia — A report was taken for a dark primered truck covered with a blue tarp parked in the brush at Slate Rim and Bennett roads.

12:10 p.m., Sonora — A report was taken for an attempted rape on Big Hill Road.

3:49 p.m., Sonora — People screamed and threw things at a mobile home park on Allison Way.

4:26 p.m., Jamestown — Someone slept in a green or gray Nissan Pathfinder with bumper stickers that partially blocked the roadway at Rawhide and Omega Mine roads.

8:53 p.m., Sonora — A report was taken for an assault on Currey Drive.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

MONDAY

5:55 p.m., Jamestown — David Lee Garcia, 63, of the 9000 block of East Avenue, Little Rock, Los Angeles County, was booked with an additional charge of driving while license suspended for DUI after an arrest on Jamestown Road at Highway 49.

MONDAY

7:42 p.m., Sonora — Joanne Elizabeth Addimando, 62, of the 24000 block of Oxbow Lane North, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury to a spouse/ cohabitant/child’s parent after an arrest on the 24000 block of Oxbow Lane North.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

1:29 a.m., Valley Springs — Suspicious activity led to an arrest on Highway 26.

7:40 p.m., Angels Camp — An arrest was made for public intoxicati­on on Highway 4.

9:28 p.m., Arnold — A report was taken for criminal contempt on Deer Run Way.

12:14 p.m., Copperopol­is — Phillip Lee Smail Jr., 29, of the 19000 block of Lane Court, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on the 500 block of Egan Road.
