Karen Ruth Grauberger

Longtime Sonora resident Karen Ruth Grauberger passed away on

Sept. 14, 2021, at Doctor’s Hospital in Modesto. She was 64.

Born in Shawano, Wisconsin, Karen lived the past 49 years in Sonora. She graduated Sonora High in 1975 and graduated the LVN program at Columbia Junior College in 1977. She attended Connecting Columbia Church and was active in Community Bible Study.

Karen is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ruppert Grauberger; children Paul Boyea, of Arnold, Anne Marie Boyea, of Columbia, and stepson, Robert Grauberger Jr., of Columbia; grandchildren Kyle Grauberger, of Columbia, and Tyrus Weightman-boyea, of Arnold; and siblings Tina Wildman, of Sonora, and Keith Windell, of Missoula, Montana.

A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Country Cowboy Church in Sonora.
