TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:16 a.m., trespass/loiter — Someone slept in an orange sleeping bag on the porch of a North Washington Street business.

9:10 a.m., vandalism — A gate was cut on Mill Villa Court.

11:17 a.m., trespass/loiter — The owner of a home for sale on East Jackson Street said they had second-hand informatio­n that people trespassed on the property several times during the week.

3:14 p.m., theft — A man who was previously trespassed from a business on Sanguinett­i Road, pushed a cart with merchandis­e out and left the area.

3:45 p.m., pedestrian check — A man in a tan coat carrying a blue satchel looked into vehicles as he walked westbound on Stockton Road.

5:16 p.m., public intoxicati­on — Someone said a man with a blue blanket lay on the ground for about an hour and his legs “are sticking out into the roadway” behind a business on Sanguinett­i Road. An arrest was made.

10:38 p.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone drew graffiti on the women’s restroom door at Woods Creek Rotary Park.

11:49 p.m. trespass/loiter — A patient, who was brought in by medics, refused to leave after he was discharged from a medical facility on Greenley Road. Officers issued a formal trespass notice and he left the area.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:59 a.m., Sonora — Someone slept in a Ford F15 with its windows covered up near a pond on Sommette Drive.

9:25 a.m., Sonora — Someone tried to use a counterfei­t bill at a Mono way eatery.

9:27 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone was assaulted on Middlecamp-sugarpine Road.

12:12 p.m., La Grange — Someone said an abandoned boat on a trailer was in the process of being stolen on Bonds Flat Road.

12:17 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone made threats at a Tuolumne Road school.

1:28 p.m., Jamestown — A Stent Cut Off Road property was vandalized.

1:57 p.m., Tuolumne — A firearm was found at a business on Tuolumne Road North.

4:29 p.m., Twain harte — A man was passed out in a vehicle in a driveway on Robin Road.

8:05 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said the stoplight on Highway 108 at Rawhide Road would not turn green and they were “waiting for approximat­ely 30 minutes.

8:17 p.m., Sonora — A man destroyed his travel trailer and shot his gun in the air on Dusty Trail.

9:25 p.m., Jamestown — A medical call was placed for someone who “was wandering around” under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance at a business on Chicken Ranch Road.

10:01 p.m., Twain Harte — Threats occurred on Cypress Circle.

10:13 p.m., Sonora — An El Puma Circle woman set up a

trail camera in her house to find out how her puppy got out. When she reviewed the footage she saw a man in a light gray sweatshirt in her house.

9:37 p.m., Sonora — Kathleen Elizabeth Robinson, 26, of the 19000 block of Soulsbyvil­le Road, Soulsbyvil­le, was booked on suspicion of attempted grand theft and a misdemeano­r charge of possession of controlled substance parapherna­lia, after an arrest on Sanguinett­i Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

11:53 a.m., Copperopol­is — A trespass occurred on O’byrnes Ferry Road.

3:06 p.m., Copperopol­is — A report was taken for a theft that occurred on Bay View Drive.

3:36 p.m., Campo Seco — A suspicious person was arrested on Watertown Road.

9:32 p.m., Copperopol­is — Someone was assaulted on Little John Road.

10:44 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone was assaulted on Garner Place and an arrest was made.
