The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

1:11 p.m., vandalism/property damage — A Mccormick Drive resident said her young daughter’s ex-boyfriend kicked in the backdoor.

1:42 p.m., reckless driving — A motorist called to report a possible drunk driver who was “all over the roadway,” crossed double-yellow lines, ran off the road, almost hit another vehicle then ran a red light on the way from Columbia to the parking lot of a South Washington Street business. An officer made contact with the driver and determined she was not drunk, but needed to be reevaluate­d by the DMV. The woman was given a ride home.

2:30 p.m., public peace/ fight/disorderly conduct — Two men fought at Heaven for Kids park on Greenley Road.

5:22 p.m., public peace/fight/ disorderly conduct — A woman threw things at a Sanguinett­i Road business and threw “stuff” at a security guard.

9:12 p.m., assault — A patron of a Washington Street bar said he was hit in the back of the head three times by a man with long hair and a beard who then left. The man was located nearby by an officer and arrested on suspicion of misdemeano­r battery.

TUESDAY

9:58 a.m., Sonora — Mail was stolen on Campo Seco Road.

11:34 a.m., Groveland — A building was broken into at the Groveland transfer station on Merrell Road.

4:47 p.m., Tuolumne — A Yosemite Road resident said a dog was shot on the neighbor’s property.

6:19 p.m., Jamestown — Abuse was reported at an unidentifi­ed address.

7:55 p.m., East Sonora — Abuse was reported at a Mono Way mobile home park.

8:13 p.m., Columbia — A Porcina Way property was burglarize­d.

12:23 a.m., Jamestown —

Ricardo Erik Vargas, 29, of the 2000 block of Eddison Avenue, Sacramento, was booked after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

1:54 a.m., Sonora — Brooke Ellen Colburn, 23, of the 200 block of Mono Way, was booked after an arrest on Barretta Street.

11:45 p.m., Twain Harte — Jonathon Keith Mayfield, 38, of the 24000 block of Tramway Road, Mi-wuk Village, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Twain Harte Drive.

TUESDAY

5:29 p.m., Tuolumne — Richard Michael Rix, address unavailabl­e, was booked on suspicion of obstructin­g/resisting and executive officer with threats or violence and misdemeano­rs obstructin­g/resisting a public officer, etc., and use/under the influence of a controlled substance after an arrest on Main Street at Elm Street.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

8:07 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Someone trespassed at a Stevenson Street property.

8:32 a.m., Valley Springs — A report for battery was taken on Baldwin Street.

9:15 a.m., Murphys — Someone caused a disturbanc­e at a Jasper Ridge Road property.

4:46 p.m., San Andreas — A report for battery was taken on Treat Avenue.

5:14 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A Rich Gulch Court property was burglarize­d.
