TUOLUMNE COUNTY
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
WEDNESDAY
1:38 a.m., weapons violations — Multiple calls occurred for gunshots and screeching tires were heard from a black Dodge pickup with a flat tire on East Lyons Street. An officer determined a tire blew in the area where the sound came from.
8:02 a.m., public intoxication — An intoxicated man with an empty vodka bottle next to him sat in front of a business and yelled on Sanguinetti Road. Medics transported him to the hospital.
8:19 a.m., lost, found property — A report was taken for a phone that was found in Coffill Park.
9:41 a.m., theft — Items were taken from a front porch on Morning Star Drive.
1:40 p.m., trespass/loiter — A bearded man drank and yelled at customers in front of a business on Mono Way. An officer determined he had been drinking, but was not intoxicated, and he left the area.
5:24 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a red and black hat, gray sweater and blue jeans walked around the parking lot of an apartment complex on Greenley Road and looked into vehicles. He told an officer he was waiting for a friend to show up.
6:00 p.m., trespass/loiter — A previously trespassed man returned to a business on Sanguinetti Road and was arrested.
7:27 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone said a man took off his clothing, carried a rope and acted strange on Stockton Road. An officer determined that he was okay and had other clothes on.
The Sheriff’s Office logs were unavailable because the office was closed in recognition of Veterans Day on Thursday.
CALAVERAS COUNTY
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
WEDNESDAY
1:27 a.m., San Andreas — A report was taken for a health and safety code violation on Mountain Ranch Road.
8:07 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — A report was taken for trespassing on Stevenson Street.
8:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Reports were taken for battery on Baldwin Street.
9:15 a.m., Murphys — A report was taken for a disturbance on Jasper Ridge Road.
10:51 a.m., Burson — A report was taken for identity theft on Highway 12.
12:48 p.m., Valley Springs — A report was taken for a suspicious vehicle parked on Baldwin Street.
1:12 p.m., San Andreas — A report was taken for suspicious circumstances on High School Street.
5:14 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A report was taken for a burglary on Rich Gulch Court.
5:25 p.m., San Andreas — A report was taken for a suspicious person on Jeff Tuttle Drive.
Jail bookings were unavailable due to a new system that doesn’t include certain information previously provided by the Sheriff’s Office, which said it was working on getting the information added to the new system.
