The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:17 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said they honked their horn at a man with facial hair who slept in an older blue and tan Dodge pickup that was parked in the roadway on South Washington Street.

2:53 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A woman said her vehicle, which was parked at a business on Mono Way, was rummaged through but she did not think anything was taken.

4:04 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man’s mother called him and said there was an emergency in the kitchen on Olive Street. Officers responded and determined that the oven malfunctio­ned.

7:10 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A woman said a window was shattered at a business on Stockton Road and she saw someone moving around inside.

8:22 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — An employee at a motel said guests complained about loud music from a television in a room and the guest did not answer the phone and there was a do not disturb sign on the door. The staff entered the room and it was vacant.

10:36 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone said they saw a group of 10-12 men yell and one of them punched a window as they walked down South Washington Street.

There was no damage to the window, and officers did not find the men.

7:01 a.m., Columbia — Something was stolen from a county building on North Airport Road.

10:16 a.m., Jamestown — Someone was assaulted on Peppermint Circle.

10:27 a.m., Standard — Someone damaged a fence and trespassed on property behind a Standard Road business.

11:48 a.m., Sonora — Someone vandalized property at a Sparrow Lane apartment complex.

1:31 p.m., Columbia — A North Airport Road resident found a bundle of drug parapherna­lia in her mailbox.

2:37 p.m., Columbia — Someone drove over and knocked down road constructi­on cones on Union Hill Road.

2:49 p.m., La Grange — A “pack of loose dogs” chased a bicyclist on Llanura Drive.

3:23 p.m., Cherry Lake — A person called to report a Ruger .22 that was lost about eight years ago.

4:49 p.m., Columbia — A catalytic converter was stolen off of a 2007 Toyota Prius parked on South Airport Road.

5:31 p.m., East Sonora — An employee who went to a tow yard on Highway 108 in response to a camera alarm found someone burglarizi­ng the business.

6:12 p.m., Tuolumne — An Old Buchanan Mine Road resident said a neighbor threatened to shoot her and her husband with his AR-15.

7:36 p.m., county line — A bald man was seen standing in the middle of the Parrotts Ferry Bridge.

12:45 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Someone vandalized property on Highway 49.

11:42 p.m., Wallace — A Turnstone Court property was burglarize­d.
