Ironstone celebrates museum anniversary with free appraisal clinic

Ironstone Vineyards will host a free appraisal clinic Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4 and 5, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of its Heritage Museum.

The appraisal clinic will be hosted by Fred Holabird of Holabird Americana, the world's largest specialist and auction house of early Americana. The clinic will held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Following the clinic, author Robin Holabird will do a special reading of several excerpts from her newest book, “Around the World in 80 Movies,” as well as a Q&A session, and Stephen Kautz, president of Ironstone, Fred Holabir and Ironstone founder and owner John Kautz will give presentations.

Admission to the appraisal clinic and celebration is free. Reservations are not necessary for either event, however those with large collections planning to attend the clinic are recommended to make an appointment with Chris Gomez at cgomez@ironstonevineyards.com.
