The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:33 a.m., trespass/loiter — A woman slept in a sleeping bag at the front door of a business on Stockton Road and left after an officer arrived.

10:03 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A woman on South Barretta Street said she mailed copies of numerous items with personal informatio­n to a company who claimed to not have received them.

10:28 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man with dark hair and dark clothing was seen riding a stolen red electric bike east on Stockton Road.

1:33 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man slept and urinated in the alcove of the main entrance of an empty building on South Washington Street.

1:59 p.m., lost, found property — Mail and checks were found in front of a business on Stockton Road.

2:06 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone said three people caused a disturbanc­e near a kid’s birthday party at Woods Creek Rotary Park on Woods Creek Drive.

3:45 p.m., burglary — A McCormick Drive property was burglarize­d.

8:23 p.m., theft — A man loaded up three laundry baskets full of merchandis­e worth $300 to $400 at a Mono Way business and left in a white van with flame decals in the back window.

11:19 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman with long hair in a baggy sweatshirt and a black beanie was admonished by an officer on South Shepherd Street for yelling, cussing, going through trash cans, and throwing items in the roadway.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:12 a.m., Sonora — A vehicle pulled a motorcycle out of a ravine on Lime Kiln Road and Highway 108.

8:10 a.m., Sonora — People slept in their vehicles on Cedar Road.

8:10 a.m., Sonora — Items were stolen from a shed on Lyons Bald Mountain Road.

9:30 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone trespassed at an elementary school on Carter Street.

10:29 a.m., Sonora — A red electric bike was stolen on Bergel Road and Sonora Fitness Drive.

11:23 a.m., Sonora — A patrol check was requested for a man and a woman who set up a camp behind an office on Sylva Lane.

11:43 a.m., Sonora — Someone said a person was “squatting on the property and elder abuse” on Lazy Z Lane.

11:54 a.m., Sonora — A fight at a business on Standard Road led to an arrest.

4:23 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Ridgeview Drive said a tree near her house was snapping and would hit power lines if it came down.

6:50 p.m., Jamestown — A motorcycle hit a deer on Highway 108 and Wigwam Road.

6:50 p.m., Sonora — Patrick Brian Locklin, 60, of the 25000 block of Four Mile Tree Road, Twain Harte, was booked after an arrest on Greenley Road.

6:18 p.m., Sonora — Ronald Anthony Navarette, 60, of the 16100 block of Murphy Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant, after an arrest on the 16100 block of Murphy Road.
