Adventist Health Sonora’s updated visitation policy

The new Adventist Health Sonora visitation policies that take effect Monday include:

• Visiting hours: 7:30 a.m. t o 7 p.m.

• One designated support person is allowed for most patients.

All visitors must:

• Provide proof of being fully vaccinated 14 or more days ago, or a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours.

• Check in at the nurses station before proceeding to the patient’s room.

• Wear a sticker, which must remain visible at all times while in the facility.

• Be 18 years of age or older.

• Wear a mask at all times while in the facility (those who fail to wear a mask will be escorted from the facility).

• Stay in the patient’s room or other area as designated by the care providers. Visitors are not

allowed in the cafeteria, waiting rooms, or any areas except the patient’s room.

• Acknowledge and accept any risks associated with entering a location where patients

diagnosed with COVID-19 may be receiving care.
