The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
FRIDAY
1:26 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman wearing a tie-dyed shirt and a scarf around her head tried to break at table at a community center on West Jackson Street.
2:32 p.m., theft — A woman said jewelry worth more than $500 was taken from her Greenley Road workplace.
5:21 p.m., public intoxication — A man was arrested for being drunk in public at a business on Pesce Way.
6:32 p.m., public peace/ fight/disorderly conduct — A woman said a man she didn’t know approached her car, yelled at her and flipped her off after she parked in a Mono Way parking lot.
SATURDAY
4:09 a.m., trespass/loiter — Two men camping in sleeping bags near the entrance to a Sanguinetti Road store harassed employees. They left after officers arrived.
12:43 p.m., theft — A South Stewart Street woman said a coat was stolen from her front door.
2:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said a group of 12 men wearing red shirts appeared to be drunk and were damaging shrubs in front of the Sonora Fire Museum. An officer determined the men were cleaning a monument.
2:29 p.m., theft — Christmas decorations were stolen during the night from a Linoberg Street property.
7:04 p.m., theft — A man with a shaved head wearing a black puffy jacket tried to steal a welder from a Mono Way business but tripped and dropped it on his way out the back of the store, then ran. Officers were unable to find the man.
SUNDAY
3:51 p.m., alarm — A man with a backpack was seen on the porch of a South Barretta Street four-plex.
3:54 p.m., vandalism/property damage — City property was vandalized in front of a North Washington Street law office.
5:10 p.m., public peace/fight/ disorderly conduct — Four or five people screamed at one another in front of a Washington Street business.
8:53 p.m., trespass/loiter — A blonde woman crouched in front of the door of a Stockton Road business.
9:07 p.m., public intoxication — A man found lying face down in front of a North Washington Street business was determined to be drunk and was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

5:55 a.m., Twain Harte — A Tuolumne Road North property was burglarized.
10:17 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — A Lama Road Teumete property was burglarized.
11:29 a.m., Twain Harte — A glass storm door and the back window of a vehicle were broken during the night on Leisure Drive.

5:06 p.m., Jamestown —
A Highway 108 property was burglarized.
6:39 p.m., Tuolumne — A theft was reported at a Tuolumne Road North business.
11:21 p.m., undisclosed — A report for assault with a deadly weapon was taken at an undisclosed address.
SUNDAY
8:15 a.m., Jamestown — A person driving a red Dodge Dakota ran the truck into blackberry bushes on Chicken Ranch Road then “ran off.” Witnesses said the vehicle was stolen.
9:19 a.m., Coulterville — A woman said two dogs tried to attack her at an undisclosed address.
4:36 p.m., Pinecrest — Vehicles were doing donuts in the parking lot at Pinecrest Reservoir.
7:15 p.m., Jamestown — A young man wearing all dark clothing sat cross-legged in the rain and partially in the roadway on Wigwam Road.
