Carol Engley Lewis

1934 — 2021

Carol was born on Jan. 23, 1934, to the late Ray and Loretta Engley in San Francisco. She died Dec. 4, 2021. She started school in Los Banos and, in the second grade, she and her parents moved to Vallejo, where she finished her education, graduating from Vallejo High School in 1951. After raising her children she went to work for The Kellogg Company in San Leandro and retired in 1995 after working 25 years.

Carol had been a resident of Tuolumne County since 2003. She was a member of the Gateway
