Construction training program begins in February
The Tuolumne Community Collaborative Construction Pre-apprentice Training Program is looking for local residents interested in construction related careers
The seven-week program is designed to teach basic construction skills that could qualify students for multiple industry-recognized certificates.
The programs will begin Feb. 14, and participants are paid a stipend during training.
This pre-apprenticeship training program will prepare individuals to enter the construction trade unions.
The program is made possible through a collaboration involving the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools Office, San Joaquin County Office of Education, Greater Valley Conservation Corps, Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County, Tuolumne County Probation Department, Mother Lode Job Training, Northern California Carpenters Training Center, Laborers Joint Apprenticeship Council, the San
Francisco Public Utilities Commission and other local community partners.
