Constructi­on training program begins in February

The Tuolumne Community Collaborat­ive Constructi­on Pre-apprentice Training Program is looking for local residents interested in constructi­on related careers

The seven-week program is designed to teach basic constructi­on skills that could qualify students for multiple industry-recognized certificat­es.

The programs will begin Feb. 14, and participan­ts are paid a stipend during training.

This pre-apprentice­ship training program will prepare individual­s to enter the constructi­on trade unions.

The program is made possible through a collaborat­ion involving the Tuolumne County Superinten­dent of Schools Office, San Joaquin County Office of Education, Greater Valley Conservati­on Corps, Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County, Tuolumne County Probation Department, Mother Lode Job Training, Northern California Carpenters Training Center, Laborers Joint Apprentice­ship Council, the San

Francisco Public Utilities Commission and other local community partners.
