TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

7:51 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A window was broken on the Dome building on South Barretta Street. An officer cleared the building but was unable to determine if entry had been gained.

1:07 p.m., reckless driving — Someone said three juveniles in a small dark blue or black car on South Stewart Street hung out of the windows and sunroof, and one of the passengers was holding a bottle of alcohol.

8:44 p.m., lost, found property — A woman said that, while she and her friend were at a movie theater, she thought her friend’s red iphone in a clear case was stolen. The phone was located, and the woman was admonished for improper use of 911.

9:56 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman on Cielo Vista said her neighbors ran a chain saw for an hour. An officer advised the homeowner of the noise complaint.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

7:46 a.m., Sonora — A Darpinian Way property was burglarize­d.

8:02 a.m., Tuolumne — A white 1992 Toyota pickup was stolen from the county yard on Birch Street.

10:07 a.m., Sonora — A man on Tuolumne Road said he saw, via surveillan­ce camera, two vehicles parked in his driveway with several people walking around.

10:26 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone said that an attempt was made to break a lock on First Street.

11:14 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said that a woman was attempting to “live in the alley behind her house” on Main Street.

11:42 a.m., Sonora — Someone said “unfamiliar persons” wandered around a residence “looking sketchy” on Rawhide Road.

7:03 p.m., Sonora — A man wearing dark clothing entered a businesses on Mono Way and screamed at people.

8:52 p.m., Sonora — Someone said their neighbor burned car parts on Kincaid Flat.

MONDAY 4:11 a.m., Sonora —

Jose Luis Silva Sagrero, 47, address not given, was booked on an additional misdemeano­r charge of driving while license suspended for DUI, after an arrest on Mono Way.

4:11 a.m., Sonora — Yahya Abdullah Mohsen Ahmed, 43, of the 1000 block of 12th Street, Oakland, was booked on suspicion of attempted kidnapping, after an arrest at Highway 108 and Sierra Rock Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

5:04 a.m., Mountain Ranch — Someone heard six gunshots on Hillsview Lane.

10:29 a.m., Valley Springs — A Highway 26 property was burglarize­d.
