Claim Jumpers remain undefeated after 84-71 home win

College The Columbia men’s basketball team, currently ranked No. 2 in California, extended its season’s win streak to 12 on Wednesday night at home.

In front of a nearly full Oak Pavilion, the Claim Jumpers beat the Chabot College Gladiators by a score of 84-71.

Tahj-malik Campbell led all scorers for Columbia with 21 points. Deshawn Bartley and Noel Alexander chipped in 13 each, while Marcus Mccutchen added 12.

The Claim Jumpers’ next game is at Shasta College in Redding at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30. They have now won 51 of their last 55 home games.
