TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:20 a.m., hazardous situation — Water from a broken drain pipe shot up 2 feet from undergroun­d on South Shepherd Street.

10:34 a.m., unclassifi­ed — A woman said a neighbor dumped a sandy material in front of her residence on East Pasadena Avenue. An officer located the material and determined that it was not hazardous.

12:04 p.m., trespass/loiter — A previously trespassed man in a black shirt and charcoal cargo pants removed bakery items from the boxes and attempted to push a cart with merchandis­e out of a business on Sanguinett­i Road. He was arrested.

12:55 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said they thought a person entered their apartment on Greenley Road to “swap out the mechanics” in their radio.

1:48 p.m., weapons violations — A woman said her adult son’s firearm went missing and was advised that she cannot make a report for him and options were provided.

2:54 p.m., traffic accident — A woman on South Washington Street said she was in a traffic collision more than a week ago and received a minor injury. An officer determined there was no injury and the woman had sought treatment for slipping on wet grass.

4:42 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said a woman walked toward the entrance of apartments on Greenley Road with a white package under her arm. An officer determined it was her own property.

9:07 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman refused to leave the lobby of the U.S. Post Office on South Washington Street, argued with an employee and tried to spit on them. Officers issued a formal trespass notice.

10:41 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone said two men threatened to kill each other on Greenley Road, but officers

were unable to locate them.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

5:28 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said someone was “going to catch something on fire” on Wigwam Road.

7:45 a.m., Twain Harte — A tree fell into a power line on Lakewood Drive.

8:09 a.m., East Sonora — A shopper at a Tuolumne Road business put a tag with a lower price on a shelf and bought the shelf for the lower price.

8:13 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — A fire hydrant on White Fir Drive was broken.

8:59 a.m., Sonora area — A broken power pole and power lines were in the road on Nile River Drive.

9:23 a.m., Twain Harte — A tree fell into power lines and a residence and blocked Lakewood Drive.

9:33 a.m., Twain Harte — A tree fell into power equipment and into the road on Wren Hollow.

9:38 a.m., Sonora area — A big rig was jack-knifed on Lyons-bald Mountain Road.

10:21 a.m., Sonora area — A tree fell into a telephone line that was attached to a power pole on Forest Lake Road.

10:34 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — A tree fell into power lines and blocked the road on Pine Lake Drive.

11:07 a.m., Big Oak Flat — An 8,000-watt generator was stolen from the storage area of a church on Big Oak Flat Road.

11:29 a.m., Cedar Ridge — A tree leaned on power poles on Kewin Mill Road.

11:52 a.m., Strawberry — A tree or power pole was on fire on Old Strawberry Road.

2:36 p.m., East Sonora — A motorist said a man opened his vehicle’s door and spit in his face after a road-rage incident on Highway 108 near Peaceful Oak Drive.

3:58 p.m., Tuolumne — Electronic­s were stolen from a Yosemite Road residence.

4:23 p.m., Jamestown — A vehicle parked on Vista Drive was vandalized.

9:43 p.m., East Sonora — A man was arrested after dragging a woman down the middle of the road near a business on Mono Way.

9:25 p.m., Jamestown area — Tesa Emeline Martin, 34, of the 900 block of Inspiratio­n Way, Turlock, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 east of Tulloch Dam Road.

8:30 a.m., Sonora — Robert Leroy Kurts, 54, address unavailabl­e, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant and arson to an inhabited structure/property after an arrest at a Greenley Road medical center.

9:48 p.m., Sonora — Jeremy Michael Tosto, 44, address unavailabl­e, was booked on suspicion of kidnapping and misdemeano­rs battery on a spouse/ ex- spouse/ date/ etc., and possession of a controlled substance after an arrest on the 13000 block of Mono Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:44 a.m., San Andreas — A Mountain Ranch Road property was burglarize­d.

11:53 a.m., Valley Springs — Something was stolen from a property on Reed Way.

12:14 p.m., Wilseyvill­e — A Lone Star Road property was burglarize­d.

1:07 p.m., Angels Camp — A Highway 49 property was burglarize­d.

2:51 p.m., Valley Springs — A Stage Coach Drive property was burglarize­d.
