The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
FRIDAY
7 a.m., animal complaints — Two rottweilers with red collars ran loose on Southgate Drive.
12:52 p.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle backed into a building on Greenley Road.
1:57 p.m., weapons violations — A man wearing a camouflage beanie and white sunglasses who claimed he was ex-military pointed a 9mm weapon at passengers in a vehicle in a Sanguinetti Road shopping center lot and said he was looking for someone who had taken items from a store.
3:15 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said she was approached by a strange man in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot who told her he worked for the police “and was special forces.” The man said a van out front was involved in child trafficking and he “was going to look out for (her) and her son.” When the woman left the store after shopping, she saw the man hiding outside.
6:24 p.m., burglary — A North Washington street resident said someone wearing a “skinny, Russian-type hat with flaps” who appeared to be on drugs broke into his garage and took a green Coleman blowtorch.
8:48 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man said he was sexually harassed and followed around a Sanguinetti Road store by a security guard who then followed him to his vehicle and blocked him from leaving.
9:44 p.m., reckless driving — A Shaws Flat Road resident said a silver or gray pickup was doing “peel outs” in front of the home.
SATURDAY
7:51 a.m., trespass/loiter — Two people sleeping in the foyer of a North Stewart Street apartment building were asked to leave.
8:14 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A man driving a white Cadillac Escalade drilled a hole in a truck at a South Washington Street business and siphoned gasoline.
9:08 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A window was broken at a business on Stockton Road.
10:06 p.m., pedestrian check — A person found sleeping in a vehicle in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot was asked to leave.
SUNDAY
5:32 a.m., trespass/loiter — A woman who was discharged from a Greenley Road medical facility refused to leave. Staff at the facility agreed to let the woman stay in the lobby until it was warmer outside.
11:01 a.m., vehicle theft — A vehicle with a green driver’sside door was stolen from apartments on Fairview Lane.
11:48 a.m., trespass/loiter — A person found sleeping behind a South Washington Street business as asked to leave.
12:50 p.m., animal complaints — A three-legged cattle dog was loose on South Green Street.the dog was found by its owner about two hours later.
8:08 p.m., weapons violations — A caller said someone was shooting a BB gun in front of a Sanguinetti Road store, and a second caller said the person was shooting at a woman. Officers found two small orange pellets, but no shooter.

11:10 a.m., Twain Harte — A telephone line was down in the roadway on Coffill Road.
12:28 p.m., Groveland — A report was taken for abuse on Dyer Court.
1:11 p.m., Sonora area — A power line was down on Broken Pine Road.

3:25 p.m., Sonora — A report was taken for lewd acts with a child on Rimrock Road.
3:41 p.m., Groveland — A Point View Drive property was vandalized.
7:15 p.m., Sonora area — Something was stolen from a Creekside Drive property.
10:13 p.m., Soulsbyville — A Soulsbyville Road business was burglarized.
11:05 p.m., Sonora — Deputies assisted Sonora Police after a report of a fight involving multiple people at a Sanguinetti Road eatery.

9:07 a.m., Groveland — A Morgan Drive resident said there were aggressive dogs loose on her property.
10:05 a.m., Sonora — A Gibbs Drive resident said she found a gun on a wood pile that she had reported stolen a few months ago.
10:18 p.m., Tuolumne — A package was stolen from a Post Office on Carter Street.
3:40 p.m., Sonora area — A report for abuse was taken on Rob-ric Drive.
4:02 p.m., Sonora area — A vehicle was off the roadway on Tuolumne Road near Morris Road.
6:15 p.m., Groveland — Someone was arrested after a fight on Ridgecrest Way.
8:28 p.m., Twain Harte — A Towhee Lane resident said a person or large animal was moving around in the attic.

Midnight, Columbia — People fought on State Street.
12:20 a.m., Jamestown — A man with a flashlight looked into vehicles parked in a Main Street parking lot.
9:27 a.m., Pinecrest — Several calls were received throughout the morning for a tree on fire on Dodge Ridge Road.
1:57 p.m., Sonora — Something was stolen at an Essen Lane property.
2:02 p.m., Jamestown — A woman was seen kneeling on the ground, waving her arms and possibly crying on the side of Jamestown Road.
4:02 p.m., Columbia — A man found lying on the ground on Washington Street was arrested.
7:14 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone was arrested after an argument at a Meadow Lane business.
9:24 p.m., Twain Harte — A man was seen yelling and hitting himself in front of a Joaquin Gully Road business.
