The problem with Democrat-run cities

To the Editor:

To be honest and truly factual, a few major Democratic-run cities have no-cash bail, which in turn puts a burden on their police departments.

Chicago will implement this same law come January 2023. The largest city, New York City, cut their department by an astronomical amount. Watching the news, murder is down 4% there, but all other crime is up 30% in most areas and 70% in others. Their force is down because of no support from their administration, early retirement is up, and the recruiting is the lowest it’s been in years. The targets on their backs are enormous. This is true in the major Democrat-run cities, sound familiar?

Omar Ilhan, the Democrat, wants to eliminate the force in Minnesota completely, it’s on video. I recently read in this paper they’re having staffing shortages at their department. This all trickles down from the hatred of law enforcement from the radical Left. The district attorney in Los Angeles was not recalled because the Dems wouldn’t vote him out, the revolving door for these criminals have a recidivism rate of 70% to commit crime. The Democrats have the majority vote in these major cities. They’ve cut funding and make this super dangerous for police, so why do Dems do it? You figure it out!
