The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:58 a.m., fire call — A caller at a business on Stockton Road said two men had a fire burning nearby. One man was arrested.

2:44 p.m., assault — A caller on Sanguinett­i Road said a man and a woman assaulted her at a business, tripping her and “body bumping” her.

3:44 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A caller said Sonora Elementary School on Greenley Road was vandalized, with paint or a wax substance applied to the concrete rail on campus.

9:58 p.m., any civil problem — A caller from an apartment complex on Fairview Lane said her roommate stole a house key and her cell phone.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:09 a.m., Jamestown — A report was taken for theft on Golden Oaks Drive.

9:12 a.m., Tuolumne — A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked at a school on Tuolumne Road.

5:05 p.m., Sonora — A caller at a business on Mono Way said they were harassed.

8:49 p.m., Sonora — A person was assaulted at a business on Soulsbyvil­le Road.

7:54 a.m., Columbia — Michael Anthony Marques, 43, address unknown, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and distributi­on or sale of narcotics, as well as a misdemeano­r charge of domestic violence after an arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:53 p.m., Arnold — A report was taken for identity theft on Flamingo Way.

1:58 p.m., San Andreas — A person was arrested on East Saint Charles Street.

5:22 p.m., Jenny Lind — A report was taken for an assault with a deadly weapon on Adams Road.

1:36 a.m., San Andreas — David Brian Lopez, 35, of the 8500 block of Cave City Road, Mountain Ranch, was booked after an arrest on Pope Street.

1:50 p.m., San Andreas — Darren Gene Dolbeare, 54, of the 2500 block of Aspen Way, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation after an arrest at the Calaveras County Probation Office.
