Wildlife rehab subject for Audubon

The difficulti­es of wildlife rehabilita­tion will be the subject of a meeting Wednesday, Nov. 16, of the Central Sierra Audubon Society.

The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. at the Tuolumne County Library, 480 Greenley Road in Sonora. The presentati­on also will be offered on Zoom.

Laura Murphy has worked in wildlife rehabilita­tion for 27 years and will highlight some of the recent cases handled by the Mother Lode Wildlife Care facility, where she is the operations director. The facility is an all-volunteer, permitted rehabilita­tion center that helps birds and other animals in the Mother Lode.
