Wildlife rehab subject for Audubon
The difficulties of wildlife rehabilitation will be the subject of a meeting Wednesday, Nov. 16, of the Central Sierra Audubon Society.
The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. at the Tuolumne County Library, 480 Greenley Road in Sonora. The presentation also will be offered on Zoom.
Laura Murphy has worked in wildlife rehabilitation for 27 years and will highlight some of the recent cases handled by the Mother Lode Wildlife Care facility, where she is the operations director. The facility is an all-volunteer, permitted rehabilitation center that helps birds and other animals in the Mother Lode.
More information on the meeting or the Zoom log-in can be found online at www.centralsierraaudubon.org.
