Architect the subject of genealogy talk

Cynthia Doyle will be guest speaker Monday, Nov. 14, at a meeting of the Tuolumne County Genealogic­al Society.

The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at the Tuolumne County Library, 480 Greenley Road in Sonora.

Doyle will give a program on research she has done on her greatgrand­father Alberto Owen Treganza, who was an architect in Utah and California from 1895 to 1944. Eighteen of his buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including four Carnegie libraries and the Karl G. Maeser Building on the Brigham Young University campus in Provo, Utah.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
