How to donate

The Mother Lode Land Trust is accepting donations for “Giving Tuesday” to make more projects like the protection of the Bennett Juniper possible.

“Providing places for the people in our region to enjoy, is important to us,” Ellie Routt, executive director of the trust, said. “Interacting with the public on our properties shares the story of the disappearance of places unique to our region and our story of working to conserve what’s remaining.”

Giving Tuesday is a “global generosity movement” that began in 2012 to raise money for nonprofit organizations and other causes on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving each year, after people have done their Black Friday and Cyber Monday holiday shopping.
