The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:23 a.m., alarm — The alarm for a cash safe door vault was triggered at a bank on South Washington Street, but the proper code was given to law enforcemen­t and the alarm was canceled.

10:50 a.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on Ridge Road said she was the victim of identity theft and that multiple accounts have been opened in her name.

4:45 p.m., theft — Someone from a business on Mono Way flagged down an officer to report the theft of alcohol from their store.

5:24 p.m., theft — A woman was apprehende­d and arrested after a theft from a business on Sanguinett­i Road.

6:14 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man who appeared to be intoxicate­d at a business on Sanguinett­i Road knocked items off of the shelves before being arrested and booked.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:11 a.m., Buck Meadows — A caller at a business on Highway 120 said they were harassed.

1 p.m., Columbia — Harassment occurred on State Street.

2:18 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said abuse occurred on Highway 108.

4:34 p.m., Columbia — Trespassin­g occurred on North Airport Road.

4:38 p.m., Sonora — Trespassin­g occurred at a business on Mono Way.

4:47 p.m., Groveland — A caller on Hidden Hollow Drive said there has been a skunk trapped in her garbage can for the last few days.

5:33 p.m., Sonora — A caller on Phoenix Lake Road said they saw two juveniles running from the scene of a fire.

2:28 a.m., Sonora — Richard Lee, 41, of the 100 block of McCormick Drive, was booked after an arrest at Pesce Way and Highway 49.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

2:01 p.m., San Andreas — An arrest was made after deputies conducted a stop on a suspicious gray Honda Accord on Main Street.

2:44 p.m., Murphys — Deputies took a report for a disturbanc­e which took place on Sugarbush Lane.

9:01 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A person was transporte­d to the hospital after a fight on Smith Road.
