The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
TUESDAY
10:46 a.m., obstructing justice/resisting officer — A woman smoking a cigarette was blocking traffic at a stop sign on Nevada Street and was ignoring everyone who approached her vehicle. When officers arrived, she continued to ignore commands, and force was used to enter her vehicle.
12:41 p.m., vandalism/ property damage — A man in a parking lot at a store on Sanguinetti Road said someone in a car parked next to him opened their door into his truck and caused a dent. Both parties were yelling at each other.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
TUESDAY
2:01 p.m., Chinese Camp — Something was stolen on Sims Road.
4:26 p.m., Sonora — People were pulling couches and other items out of storage units and setting them on fire on Eagle Ridge Drive.
4:48 p.m., Columbia — Threats were made at an elementary school on Parrotts Ferry Road.
10:58 p.m., Sonora — Someone was assaulted at a jail on Justice Center Drive.

9:26 a.m., Sonora — Michelle Catherine Kadow, 39, of the 3200 block of Nashville Court, Merced, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance in a prison, after an arrest on Justice Center Drive.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
TUESDAY
4:22 p.m., San Andreas — Something was stolen on Monte Vista Court.
