Airbus Announces More Orders at Air Show
Airbus landed orders for 166 aircraft yesterday, bringing its haul for the first three days of the Paris Air Show to 548, worth $75.7 billion on the basis of catalogue prices. But despite the flurry of deals, this is still far behind the 634 orders for Boeing’s Dreamliner.
Boeing got a 16-plane order from Air France valued at $2.7 billion yesterday, following an $8.8 billion order Tuesday from International Lease Finance, including the first sale of 787 Dreamliners at this year’s air show.
