Mind your own business

Though the June 6 editorial “China’s baby bust” made important points about China’s social engineering of women’s reproduction, it neglected to draw a straight line to the antiabortion movement in this country. Any nation that can control women’s reproduction is wrong, be it for limiting the number of children women can have or dictating where and when women must deliver children.

The right to privacy drove the Supreme Court’s decision on abortion in this country. China and the United States should mind their own business.
