A Landover man has been arrested and charged with murder in a weekend shooting that left one man dead and a second man and a 7-year-old boy wounded, Prince George’s County police said.

De Lonta Terrence White, 32, is being held without bond at the county jail on charges that include first- and second-degree murder.

The gunfire occurred around 8:25 p.m. on Sept. 12 in the 7600 block of Marlboro Pike, police said.

The victims apparently then drove to the 2000 block of Addison Road South, where officers later found 28-year-old Shakir Taylor inside an SUV with a gunshot wound. Taylor, of District Heights, died at the scene.

The other man and the boy were taken to hospitals with injuries that did not appear lifethreatening, police said.

Police said Wednesday in a news release announcing the arrest that White and Taylor were “known to each other” and that the shooting stemmed from an “ongoing dispute.”

The shooting happened in a commercial section of the Forestville area.
