Man charged in slaying of two roommates

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shootings of two roommates in their Suitland apartment in September, Prince George’s County police said.

The man, Charles Dominique Williams, is being held without bond at the county jail. Detectives are still investigat­ing the motive, police said.

The two roommates, Michael Rodney Jackson Jr., 32, and Kevin Ikard, 24, were found at

11:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 with gunshot wounds inside their apartment, authoritie­s said. Officers were called to the 4100 block of Suitland Road for a reported shooting. Both men died at the apartment. Williams is Jackson’s cousin, police said, and had been staying with the men.
