Man dies in car crash near Pr. George’s line
A combination of heavy rain and high speed appears to have led to a fatal crash on Route 301 on Saturday evening, police said.
Tujoaneth Tinsu Stinnie, 43, was going north near the border between Prince George’s and Charles counties when he lost control of his sedan, police said. He veered into southbound traffic and collided with an SUV coming from the opposite direction, said Sgt. Appiah Pierre of the Maryland State Police.
Stinnie, described as the “atfault driver,” was pronounced dead at the scene; he was the only person in his car. Police said two others, a 44-year-old adult and a juvenile, were hospitalized with serious injuries.
