Death toll from weeks of rains in Pakistan rises to 282:
The death toll from five weeks of monsoon rains and flash floods in Pakistan has jumped to at least 282, officials said, as downpours continued lashing the country. The deluge has swollen rivers and damaged highways, bridges and about 5,600 houses since June 14, the National Disaster Management Authority said. Most of the damage and casualties were reported in the southwestern Baluchistan province.
