Picture this: A season of change

Training camp was in Ashburn this summer, but that was far from the only aspect that was different for the renamed Commanders. Quarterback Carson Wentz, below, offered a smile for a selfie with one of his newest fans — as well as one of his youngest. The former Eagles standout, acquired in a March trade, takes over under center after one season with the Colts. Also new to the offense is wide receiver Jahan Dotson, bottom left, who impressed with his catching skills and polished routes during the preseason. He will slot in as a key Wentz target behind star wideout Terry Mclaurin. On defense, new line coach Jeff Zgonina got physical with Daniel Wise. Zgonina was promoted to the role after Sam Mills III was fired during training camp. All three will play important roles during the pivotal third season of Coach Ron Rivera’s tenure, which begins Sunday afternoon with a matchup against the Jaguars at Fedex Field.
