At least 8 migrants die in boat sinking off Tunisia: At least 7 killed in airstrikes in northwest Syria:
Syrian government airstrikes over the country’s northwestern Idlib province killed seven civilians and wounded at least 12. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which has a network of activists on the ground, gave the casualty figures, saying a total of 14 airstrikes were launched.
At least eight migrants died and another 15 were missing after a boat sank off Tunisia, as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to Italy, State Monastir Radio said. The coast guard rescued 14 migrants who had been on the boat, which sank off Chebba in Mahdia region.
