Takoma Park Folk Festival

“Regroovinate” is the theme of this year’s Takoma Park Folk Festival, which is returning in person after two years of virtual events. The entire festival is outdoors at Takoma Park Middle School: four stages of music, a craft market with more than 30 vendors, and children's’ activities. While “folk” is in the name, the artists performing offer a wide range of styles, from country to Django-inspired jazz, and sea shanties to New Orleans blues.

When: Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: Takoma Park Middle School, 7611 Piney Branch Rd., Takoma Park.

Admission: Free.
