How we define extremism
Thanks to Kathleen Parker for reporting in her Sept. 7 op-ed, “We’re not as divided as we think,” on the numbercrunching that shows the country is far less divided than it might appear. Excellent work.
Please clarify: How many Democratic socialists fit the definition of “extremist” she used as a yardstick: rejection of 2020 election results, embrace of candidates who reject the results, approval of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol and approval of violence as a political tool? I know of none.
