Police investigating Temple Hills shooting

Prince George’s County police said they were investigating the fatal shooting of a man just before noon Sunday in Temple Hills.

The victim, identified as Omar Smith, 31, of D.C., suffered a gunshot wound, police said. Authorities were called to the 3700 block of Dunlap Street and found Smith outside.

He died at the scene, police said.
