Teen is fatally shot in Upper Marlboro area

One teen was fatally shot and one was wounded Thursday in the Upper Marlboro area, Prince George’s County police said. Authorities identified the dead teen as 17-year-old Michael Nwaulu, of Upper Marlboro. Police have not named the second victim, an adult male, who is being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening, authorities said. Police were called to the 9600 block of Parkstone Drive about 8:40 p.m., police officials said. Officers found both victims in a parking lot with gunshot wounds, police said.
