The Baltimore Ravens are trading safety Chuck Clark to the New York Jets for a 2024 seventhround draft pick, according to a person with knowledge of the trade.

Trading the 27-year-old Clark will save Baltimore about $4 million against the salary cap.

New York also released wide receiver Braxton Berrios, an all-pro kick returner in 2021, to clear $5 million in cap space. . . .

The San Francisco 49ers signed reserve offensive lineman Colton Mckivitz to a two-year extension before he could become a restricted free agent. . . .

The Houston Texans lost their fifth-round pick in this year’s draft and must pay a $175,000 fine for a salary cap reporting violation involving Deshaun Watson in 2020, the NFL said.
