Rev. An­nie L. But­ler, 77, of Sil­ver Spring, MD, passed away Fri­day, June 8, 2018, at Caroli­nas Med­i­cal Cen­ter, Pineville, NC.

A memo­rial ser­vice will be at 11 a.m., Satur­day, June 23, 2018, at the Na­tional United Methodist Church, 3401 Ne­braska Av­enue, NW, Wash­ing­ton, DC 20016.

Ms. But­ler was born Septem­ber 16, 1940, in Ol­ney, MD. She was a re­tired teacher with Mont­gomery County Public Schools, a Pas­tor in the AUMP Church, and the for­mer As­sis­tant Chap­lin at Mont­gomery Gen­eral Hospi­tal.

Ms. But­ler was pro­ceeded in death by her par­ents, Leroy T. and Alice C. But­ler, and her brother, Leroy T. But­ler, Jr. Sur­vivors are her daugh­ters, Chris­tine (Tony) of Cal­i­for­nia, MD, Max­ine (Nathan, Sr.) of Clarksville, TN, and Cor­rine (James) of Lake Wylie, SC; brother, Gor­don (Dina) of Columbia, MD; six grand­chil­dren, Brian (Yvette), Chanté (James), Ariel (Michael), An­draé (Adri­enne), Nathan, Jr., and Al­yse; and six great grand­chil­dren, Thao, Taji, Kel­lan, Michael, Jr., Tyler, and Parker.
