Cue the laugh track

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

President Obama recently stated that his nominee for the Supreme Court must have a keen understanding of how the law affects the daily lives of Americans and that in a democracy powerful interests must not be allowed to drown out the voices of ordinary citizens.

How two-faced can you be? These comments were made after he and the powerful political interests in Congress pushed the health care bill through and completely drowned out the voices and wishes of America’s ordinary citizens who were, and are, for the most part opposed to it.

I’m convinced that this president is so deceptive and deceitful towards the American people and our Republic that nothing he says is believable. Charles Austin Des Moines, Iowa
