Branches all in bed together

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor - STEPHEN MOUNGELIS Mount Airy, Maryland

The amount of hypocrisy at the highest levels of the Justice Department, CIA and FBI is alarming. When we see it from the media, it’s an acceptable form of idiocy; We’ve grown to expect the outrageous nature of that little dream world. But when we have the Justice, Legislative and Executive branches in bed with each other, we end up with a new set of rules that turns the world upside down.

The criminals are allowed to walk free while the innocent are persecuted.

The root of the problem here is politicizing the Justice Department. The only solution that develops any form of normalcy requires cutting the snake off at the head.

Justice, CIA and FBI need a house cleaning from the top down. Everyone above a certain grade must be removed from their positions and properly vetted if they are ever allowed to return. Here is where it gets sticky: It’s the FBI that does the vetting. I guess it’s time for a fourth branch of government. Perhaps the Integrity Department?
