Schneiderman gets just desserts

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor - THOMAS WINTHROP Fairfax, Virginia

So the wheel of fate has turned on New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, Trump hater and supposed paragon of virtue (“Eric Schneiderman’s stunning fall puts aggressive anti-Trump legal agenda in jeopardy,” Web, May 8). It is poetic justice that Mr. Schneiderman’s resignation under dubious circumstances is playing out in the national media. Yes, another liberal pastime has been exposed — yet the mainstream media spends all its time attacking the policies of President Trump, policies that have been so successful in a short period of time against a barrage of attacks.

The hypocrisy of Mr. Schneiderman exposes the smoke-andmirrors techniques the left has long used to push disastrous policies on an unsuspecting public. The Democrats’ agenda is not about serving the public. To them, the ends justify the means.

Will “Saturday Night Live” have a new skit to roll out this weekend?
