Trump’s excellent Iran move

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor - WILSON FARIS Gaithersburg, Maryland

There is nothing historic about the lunacy of President Obama’s appeasement of a terrorist state (“Trump makes good on Iran threat,” Web, May 8).

It was a “deal” formulated in the purple haze of mullah madness by a kindred spirit who sold out American resolve. As for the limp-wristed Europe, which raised a white flag once again, they will now have to show some backbone for once in their sorry lives.

The Iran deal was always a bad one, concocted by bad politicians. We were no better off when it was signed and no worse off now that it is trash. Iran, North Korea and the world will get a far safer deal with a businessman than with a petty Islamist with no experience. The Obama legacy is dead, and good riddance. Like Winston Churchill, Donald Trump had to look evil in the eye. Both chose the right path.
