Trump hatred wholly misdirected

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor - JIM POSMER Lakeland, Florida

to secure the border by enforcing our immigration laws, building a wall to keep out drugs, drug dealers, criminals, illegal migrants and terrorists out. He wants free trade with other nations. What radical ideas these all are

Let us look at some of the results of the implementation of some of these radical ideas. NATO nations have agreed to pay more for their defense.

We cut the tax rates and tax revenues are up. Countries are cutting their tariffs and some are allowing more American goods to be imported. The president cut onerous regulations and jobs are coming back.

Imagine what our country would be like if since World War II all politicians had pushed these ideas. Would we be more than $21 trillion in debt? Would we have a yearly trade deficit of more than $800 million?

Maybe more people’s hatred should be directed at the past politicians whose sins we are now paying for.
