U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) pulled out a loaded .38 caliber handgun in a constituent meeting on gun violence, to demonstrate that guns “are not the problem.” Norman said he carries the weapon because “I’m not going to be Gabby Giffords”—the Arizona congresswoman who was shot by a disturbed man. Constituent Lori Carter said Norman’s display of a loaded gun during the meeting “felt like an intimidation tactic.”

A Florida teenager says high school officials pulled her into the nurse’s office and told her to put Band-Aids over her “distracting” nipples. Lizzy Martinez, 17, says multiple staff members humiliated her by saying her breasts were bothering other students.
