Filmmaker Desiree Akhavan wasn’t done for the year when her film The Miseducation of Cameron Post won top honors at Sundance. In this six-part comedy-drama series created by its star, Akhavan plays a New Yorker in London who starts dating men for the first time shortly after asking for a break from the woman she’s lived with for a decade. It’s not easy being neither straight nor gay, especially when you and your ex are still running a business together. Available for streaming Friday, Nov. 16, Hulu where crime bosses set limits on family aspirations and fathers try to set limits on their own girls’ dreams. Sunday, Nov. 18, at 9 p.m., HBO
