Harassment claims resurface: As

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) considers another run for president, he was confronted last week with allegations that several women on his 2016 campaign experienced sexual harassment and other misconduct. Appearing on CNN, Sanders claimed he was unaware of the allegations when they were first raised, saying, “I was a little bit busy running around the country.” Yet more than twodozen former aides requested a meeting with Sanders last week to “discuss the issue of sexual violence and harassment on the 2016 campaign” ahead of the upcoming Democratic primary. A copy of their letter was obtained by Politico .com. Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ 2016 campaign manager, conceded there were problems with gender and race dynamics among the campaign staff. “Was it too male? Yes,” he said. “Was it too white? Yes. Would this be a priority to remedy on any future campaign? Definitely.”
