A British couple is planning to secretly feed their wedding guests a roadkill banquet. In an online job ad, the bride and groom said they need a chef to “come up with some delicious recipes” for the 44 pounds of scavenged squirrel, rabbit, and deer in their freezer. The anonymous pair said they recognize “this isn’t something the ‘average’ chef would be happy in helping us with.” But they added that they’re willing to pay $6,000 to the caterer and hope that someone with “our same passion for the environment can step forward.”
