Show of the week El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

As Game of Thrones proved, the trickiest thing for a top-notch series to do is stick the landing. Vince Gilligan clearly believes he can work such magic twice with the same series, following up 2013’s brilliant final episode of Breaking Bad with a two-hour standalone sequel. El Camino picks up the story of Jesse Pinkman, last seen fleeing a neo-Nazi drug compound where he’d been held captive. Aaron Paul reprises his role as Walter White’s protégé and partner, with plenty of other fan favorites along for the ride as Jesse confronts his past. Available for streaming Friday, Oct. 11, Netflix
