Homeless massacre: A homeless man used a 3-foot, 15-pound metal bar to bludgeon four men to death who were sleeping on the street last week, police said. Randy Santos, 24, was caught minutes later in Chinatown dressed in all black with the bloody weapon in his hand, and faces charges for murdering the men—Chuen Kwok, 83, Anthony Manson, 49, Nazario Vazquez Villegas, 55, and an unidentified fourth person— and nearly killing a fifth. Santos, who spent most of his time in the Bronx, also faces charges of attempting to kill a sleeping homeless man a week earlier. In the past year, Santos has been involved in a number of assaults. He was arrested for choking and biting a man at a store and was reportedly kicked out of homeless shelters several times for punching other residents.
