Forget the warnings about coffee’s link to cardiovascular issues. A 2017 review of 400 studies determined that most people can safely drink up to 32 oz a day (sans sugar, of course). Coffee is, in fact, the average American’s leading source of antioxidants.
Carbohydrates are the body’s top fuel source, and should be, so don’t shun them. “A smarter strategy: Focus on reducing refined carbs (like white bread, pasta, and sweets) rather than cutting out all carbs.”
Both the American Cancer Society and National Cancer Institute have found no evidence to support the popular fear that the aluminum salts in antiperspirants cause cancer.
