The case for a ‘Freaky Friday’

-

When you’re worn down from a long week and Saturday morning presents no obligations, it could be time for a “Kids Are Parents” Night. “Here are the rules: Kids make dinner, put their parents to bed, and stay up as late as they want.” If you’re lucky, they’ll give you a milk and taco dinner and send you upstairs at 8:30 while they handle other non-negotiables, like washing the dishes. Yeah, they’ll stay up late. But teach them how to check the door locks and shut off the lights and maybe they’ll be just responsible enough to call it a night by 12. And you’ll be well rested for the weekend.
